Negotin wine route

Negotin is a town located 250 km south of Belgrade.
This area is known for its wine production, which was established here during the Roman period. It is well known that the wine produced in this region was sought after in Vienna.

Because of the great distance between certain destinations, we recommend that, in addition to hotel accommodation, you look for private accommodation in apartments and rooms or maybe some ethnic villages.

Many wines are cultivated in this region, both white and red.
White wines: Rhine and Italian Riesling, Plovdina, Župljanka, White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Smederevka, Traminac, Rkaciteli, Red Traminac, Sémillon, Sauvignon, Muscat Ottonel and Tamjanika.
Red wines: Prokupac, Alicante Bouschet, Red Tamjanika, Portugizac, Gamay, Red Burgundy, Cabernet Sauvignon, Frankovka, Gamay Teinturier, Župa Teinturier, Vranac.
